Painted this view from the famous filbert park in Comx on Vancouver Island in the late afternoon in the summer when the sunlight started to break out of the clouds and when the deers started to come out for food.
Standing in the water on the beach I painted this view when the sale boats are passing by and the distant snow-covered mountains are in full view under the floating clouds.
