a glimpse of sunset from our backyard
I have never in my life received so many birthday greetings as this year from my Facebook friends. It is such a busy day for me! There is a after-school meeting for support staff at school , and it was past 5 pm already when I came home. I drove straight to North Hill to deliver a painting , and after coming back to finish my supper in a hurry, we went to cast our vote for Manitoba provincial election. It was already past 7 p.m when I came home, and there was not much of sunlight left. I came to my easel on our patio and did this quick oil sketch of sunset to mark my 51st birthday.
