While walking along the street in Downtown Brandon in the morning of August 7, I suddenly had the urge to come to downtown to paint. Then, Pelula Clark's Downtown started to reverberate in my ears. When I came back home that morning, I switched on my computer and started to check my emails. To my surprise, I received an email from Amber Anderson, the curator from the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba informing me that the gallery will exhibit my works March next year! and she thought it would be interesting to have someone like me to capture downtown and whole Brandon from an unique perspective! What a sort of serendipitous experience!
