A full moon hanging aloft the night sky with its cool silvery light counterbalanced by the warm street light. It turned out to be a sleepless night for me . By the time I almost finished this painting, news back from China came that Aunt Meihua passed away in Beijing after struggling for 7 long years on dialysis due to kidney failure. A light suddenly went out of our life , and what was left was a overwhelming sense of sadness , and found memory of her in our lives.
