Towards evening after supper I drove by the Kind Park on Aberdeen and the First Street. The sparkling light on the bark of aspens in the distance caught my eyes. I pulled over and set up my easel. While painting there, I met a family from Wawanesa having a picnic in the park. Had a very nice chat over the painting with Earl who is very knowledgeable in painting and also very interested in painting. Always a treat to be able to have such nice conversation with people who are so knowledgeable and who share the same interest, which just makes the painting experiences so enjoyable and so memorable as well.
