Color of spring

Warm sunlight in the afternoon shining through the grove of junipers in the corner of our backyard really makes me feel spring is finally here to stay!?

Waiting to be sowed and planted

Cold and cloudy today. No sign of sunlight. A robin landed in front of me while I was doing this oil sketch. It is always so exciting to see robins again after a long and cold winter.

Streching out against the sky

Quite warm today which made it possible for me again to paint outdoor. Walked a few hundred feet to the path and painted this oil sketch of the old willow tree over the fence.

Before dusk taking over

Again it was really cold outside but looking through the storm door it was nice and sunny. The lone ash tree in front was brightly lit by the receding sunlight. I did a quick oil sketch before it was getting too dark outside.
