Under the watchful eyes of a mother

Under the watchful eyes of a mother, a little girl was learning how to ride her first bike. They were passing by while I was doing a quick oil sketch of the tree blossoming on neighbor's property in the late afternoon.

Getting ready for her garden

My wife could not wait for her garden to start to bloom. There, she was getting busy with getting the soil ready for the new growing season. A quick oil sketch in late afternoon.

A glimpse across the street

What a be beautiful day for our neighborhood garage sale at Balmoral Bay! When I came back in the afternoon , the sale was almost over, and I did a quick oil sketch of the view across the street.

Driveway soaking wet with rain

A quick oil sketch of the driveway towards evening after a heavy shower of rain. It was quite dark outside, and the only other bright spot is the speck of light from the window across the street.

Quiet corner in our backyard

It was still rainy and cloudy today. It was so fresh and green outside! Spring had never been here so early as far as I remembered.

A brief sunny moment

Waking up from a nap at 7 p.m., found the brief sunny moment out of the window.

On a snowy spring morning

All of a sudden it snowed over night. It was such a rare sight to see the accumulation of snow on the lush green of spring early in the morning. Painted this  quick oil sketch early in the morning in 30 minutes.
