I have lost count of how many times I have painted this view at this time of the day and at this time of the year. Again with it being so cold outside and with no time to waste, I had to paint whatever that came into my view. Today after coming back from work it was already about 4 p.m. I set up my old portable ease on our patio and painted this quick oil sketch sitting on a chair in subzero bone chill biting coldness.
