On the Napili Shore, Maui, Hawaii

I have to pinch myself to believe it is not a dream that I am standing on the Napili shore painting the morning sky and ocean on the Pacific coast of Maui, Hawaii. After 6 hours flight from Wancouver and 3 hours flight from Winnipeg, we finally landed on this beautiful  island yesterday ! It is a bit cloudy when I start this painting. However, soon the drizzle of rain is followed by pouring rain. I am totally drenched before I can finish this painting. What an exciting experience!
