Drove 200 kilometers to Winnipeg early in the morning to do more paintings there. However, once we got to the spot only to discover that I forgot to bring my brushes. Had to find a art supply store to get some cheap paint brushes to get back to paint this view on Assiniboine River across from Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg when the sun started to break out of the heavy clouds lighting up the surface of the river. Hope that I had captured that special and fleeting moment.
