Came to paint this house around 10 this morning. Located on Lorne Ave and nestled behind hedges and tucked away behind tall trees , this century old house strikes an impressive profile. It also linked to my early memory of Brandon as I used to pass by this house almost on a daily basis on my way to and from Brandon University campus as a foreign student twenty years ago. While painting this view, I heard students passing by speaking Mandarin, just showing you how much the demographic landscape of Brandon has changed over the past decade.
